1st Annual Neapolitan Pizza Forum June 24th-29th in Seattle, Washington Admission: Free |
| The first annual Neapolitan Pizza Forum
will be held in Seattle, Washington from June 24th to 29th, 2009. Seattle was chosen for this event for a variety of reasons. First,
Naples and Seattle, despite being far apart, have many similarities: The
most obvious is that they both have volcanoes,
Mt. Vesuvius and Mount Rainier respectively. In fact, a magnificent
volcano-studded skyline by the bay is a feature of both places. Second, both
are busy port cities which love and are known for both their seafood and their
coffee.
In addition to such similarities, Seattle was deemed a good choice as it has more VPN Americas members than any other one US city. Seattle is known as a very international city, particularly in matters of cuisine. The positive response to Verace Pizza there has reflected this fact. This event will be a great forum for our members to discuss and exchange their experiences relative to Verace Pizza. Below is an message from Elizabeth Jones of Tuttabella regarding the itinerary for the event:
